What stays the same
You start as a small cell in an arena full of colored pellets. Eat pellets to gain mass, eat any cell that is about 25% smaller than you, and stay away from the bigger ones. Press Space to split and catch a cell that runs, hold W to feed mass, and use the green spiky viruses as cover: any cell over 133 mass that touches one bursts into pieces. Your pieces merge back after a short timer, so every split is a gamble.
What is new
- Boost: hold Shift or the right mouse button to move 1.75 times faster. It burns mass, which you leave behind as a trail that others can eat.
- Power-ups: speed, shield, magnet and ghost orbs appear once you reach 700 mass or have 700 points saved.
- Events: Food Rush fills the floor with golden pellets, Virus Swarm spawns extra viruses, and the Golden Blob is worth 150 bonus points to whoever eats it.
- Skins you earn: finish in the top 10 for points (first place pays 100) and spend them on 14 extra skins, from a pizza to a star.
- 3D or 2D: a tilted 3D arena drawn with WebGPU, or a clean 2D view for older laptops. Switch any time in the lobby.
Three ways to play
Solo puts you against 15 bots on easy, normal or hard, with no wait and no lag, which is great practice for timing your splits. Online drops you into a public arena of 16 cells with up to 12 real players, and bots fill the empty seats so a match never feels dead. Is it really free?
Yes. Every mode is free, with ads between games. A one-time payment of $5 removes the ads for good. There is no account to make: your name, skins and points stay with your browser.
